Airdate: The Other Rugby Show

FOX Sports is launching a second dedicated rugby program, The ‘Other’ Rugby Show, next Wednesday night.

The new show will debut at 7.30pm leading into Rugby 360 which moves to 8.00pm.

To be hosted by Sean Maloney, George Gregan and Andrew Mehrtens, the show has been modelled off the Rugby World Cup program The Cup Runneth Over, and takes a humorous look at the lighter side of the game.

The ‘Other’ Rugby Show takes all the best bits from The Cup Runneth Over to deliver rugby fans a fresh, new offering that showcases Rugby in a way that’s never been seen before,” said Sean Maloney.

“Mehrts is ready to unleash his warped sense of humour and fans will get to witness a side different side of George.

“We have some special assignments lined up for Hoilesy. If he makes it to the third episode, it’ll be a miracle.”

Former Wallaby Stephen Hoiles injects his unique brand of humour into the show, sitting down with some of the biggest names in the game for exclusive one-on-one interviews.

Tiana Penitani, star of the World Champion Australian Women’s Sevens team, joins the team as a fresh new face and is set take a look at some classic matches featuring the Wallabies and England ahead of the June test series kicking off on Saturday.

Wallabies’ legends Greg Martin and Rod Kafer return to host Rugby 360 from 8.00pm, providing fans their weekly dose of the latest news, opinion and analysis from across the world of Rugby.

Martin and Kafer source opinions from current players, coaches and legends, including Waratah and Wallaby Nick Phipps, Wallabies coach Michael Cheika, former All Blacks skills coach Mick Byrne, and legends of the game Tim Horan and Phil Kearns, to unravel the issues from every angle.

Leading rugby journalists Georgina Robinson and Iain Payten also return each week to weigh in on the latest news headlines.
