Gold Week Telethon raises $5.58m

Nine’s Gold Week Telethon yesterday raised $5,584,631 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The event was hosted by network personalities including Karl Stefanovic, Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins, Sylvia Jeffreys, David Campbell, Tim Gilbert, Erin Molan, Beau Ryan and Stevie Jacobs, with Live crosses to the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Answering phone donations were Ross Greenwood, Ben Fordham, Danika Mason, Amelia Adams, Jaynie Seal, Ken Sutcliffe, Renee Gartner, Yvonne Sampson, Brett Finch, Sophie Hensser, Lincoln Younes, Mandy McElhinney, Gracie Gilbert, Tyler De Nawi, Michael Denkha, Rob Shehadie, Sam Alhaje, Tahir Bilgic, Zoe Ventoura, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Carmel Rodrigues, Blake Morgan, Nada-Leigh Nasser, Jasmin Jade Nasser, Nikki Gemmell, Ruan Sims, Mario Fenech, Rachel Corbett and many more.

Performers included Thirsty Merc, David Campbell, Prinnie Stevens, Mahalia Barnes, The Wolfe Brothers, John Foreman, Gentlemen of Deceit, Lee Kernaghan and The Voice sisters Jasmine and Nada-Leigh.

Over seven years the telethon has raised over $24.5 million for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
