Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller-Heidke join The Voice

Three new coaches join Guy Sebastian in returning Seven talent show.

Three new coaches have been announced for The Voice 2024:

International singer and songwriter LeAnn Rimes; Queen frontman Adam Lambert; and Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke.

They join returning coach Guy Sebastian, and host Sonia Kruger, in the quest to find a new artist.

LeAnn Rimes said: “I am incredibly honoured and excited to embrace the opportunity of coaching on The Voice. This special chance to mentor and discover new voices throughout Australia is a reflection of the love and support I’ve received from my Australian fans throughout my career. I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent.”

Adam Lambert said: “I am thrilled to be joining the panel of The Voice this season. I have such great memories in Australia and can’t wait to spend some time down under! Australia has contributed some iconic talents and artists to pop culture, it’ll be fun to coach the next generation of talent. You can expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and of course, a win for Team Adam!”

Kate Miller-Heidke said: “I am so excited to be joining The Voice, and to sit on the panel alongside these incredible singers. The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers. I’ll be looking for people with the soul of an artist; people with something to say; who make you lean in and want to know more about them. And I’m really looking forward to getting to know the other coaches. Bring it on!”

Guy Sebastian said: “It’s so good to be back on The Voice! It is always very special to be a part of a show that continues to not only uncover fresh Aussie talent but also shine a bright, well-deserved light on so many talented singers. Adding the insane talent of LeAnn, Kate and Adam on the show this year is going to be killer!! They’re all such amazing, world-class artists who I know will bring something fresh and incredible to the season. Let’s go!”

Seven’s Chief Content Officer, Entertainment Programming, Angus Ross, said: “The Voice has been our #1 entertainment program since 2021, reaching and engaging millions of people. We’re beyond thrilled to have four of the world’s greatest vocalists discovering and coaching a new wave of Australian artists this year. With LeAnn, Adam, Kate and Guy in the spinning red chairs, it’s going to be the best season yet!”

ITV Studios Australia CEO & Managing Director, David Mott, said: “ITV Studios is delighted to welcome Adam, Kate and LeAnn alongside music legend Guy Sebastian for what promises to be an extraordinary 13th season of The Voice. The Voice continues to be not only one of the biggest entertainment shows in Australia but also the biggest and most successful brand in global TV history, with now more than 150 versions produced around the world.”

The new season of The Voice goes into production this month and will premiere later this year on Channel 7 and 7plus.

  1. I think this is a fantastic lineup of coaches – from different genres of music. Each will bring their own spin on mentoring & performance style. I haven’t watched The Voice regularly for ages, but these 4 will be enough to make me tune in again. Good get, Seven & ITV!

  2. Rita, Jason, Jess and Guy was such a surprisingly solid panel in terms of personality, chemistry, musical popularity, credibility, relevance/star power and most of all – diversity!! This, in contrast, is a very Channel 7 beige panel, I can’t really see many people tuning in specifically to see any of them.

    1. It’s all about timing and availability. 7 is airing it later this year but going into production during the same time as before.

Maybe if they delayed production they probably could of retained Rita who’s filming Masked Singer US in Feb-March 🤷‍♂️

  3. Wow. What a shakeup. It’s an interesting lineup. I wonder how it will go. I mean I love Adam Lambert so that will be fun. Disappointed Rita won’t be back though but knew the moment she signed on to a US talent show she wouldn’t be back 🙁

  4. Adam has been a judge on X factor Australia before so he’s no major surprise.

The two ladies are surprising choices. Wonder what Kate will be like as a judge.

  5. Wow. This feels like an epic fail. I think they should have maybe “rested” the season, and tried to get some better talent….Rita Ora and Jason Derulo at least had songs in the chart in the last few years

    1. Ok you say it’s a epic fail. Ok why? All the new judges have sold millions of records world wide. They have had experience in the music industry all in music industry. What more do you want in a judge? Personally I don’t see a reason a need for two judges being from overseas.
