I am always torn when I read the “Heritage” category in the US Television Critics Awards.
After all how do you decide which is more deserving of a legacy acknowledgment amongst The Larry Sanders Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Seinfeld, Star Trek, and Twin Peaks? They are all winners. All highly influential. All have stood the test of time.
Here are this year’s nominees as voted by US TV critics, including those in the running for Program of the Year: The Americans, Fargo, Game of Thrones, Making a Murderer, Mr. Robot, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and UnREAL.
Winners will be announced Sat., August 6, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
