Ratings: Seven clinches ratings week as Nine loses ground.

Seven grabbed back the ratings crown last week in a decisive win over Nine, which lost ground against a stronger TEN.

MasterChef was the week’s top show, with TEN nabbing second on three of four nights.

SBS also lifted last week, including a very healthy 10.3% share on Saturday.

TEN won 16-39 Demo, Seven won 18-49 and 25-54.

Seven won every night except Sunday, won by Nine. TEN pipped Nine on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. ABC bettered TEN on Saturday.

Seven was victorious in all cities except Sydney, claimed by Nine.

Nine: Nine News (1.28m), 60 Minutes (933,000), A Current Affair (788,000) and Love Child (694,000).

TEN: MasterChef Australia (Sun: 1.29m), Have You Been Paying Attention? (856,000), Offspring (844,000) and The Project (7pm: 640,000).

ABC: ABC News (Sat: 814,000), Australian Story (806,000), Q&A (776,000) and Four Corners (708,000).

  1. It’s great to have some true competition in the figures of late…although it will end soon with Olympics which I am sure will take some of the heat from 10 especially (although I am hoping not too much).
