A trailer has been released for the FOX remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show which, whilst not airing Live, features Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Ryan McCart, Adam Lambert, Ben Vereen and an appearance by Tim Curry.

Whilst FOX presumably think it is being ground-breaking in casting transgender performer Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black) as Dr. Frank’n’Furter creator Richard O’Brien has previously said “I think that it is a project that is misconceived and (sadly for the players) badly cast.”

“The producer and director seem to have missed the point entirely.”

Due to air in the US for Halloween it will screen in Australia on TEN.
