It had to happen -but the speed of this is scary!
The Simpsons has an upcoming episode featuring Pokémon Go, as seen in this teaser scene for the upcoming season.
…hopefully no actual kids fall into a lion pit ahead of the broadcast and cause the ep to be held over.

The clip is from “A Tree Grows in Springfield” the sixth episode of the 24th season. Homer is playing with the MyPad he won from a raffle.
Please don’t let facts get in the way of a good story.
It’s still a Pokemon trailer for Simpsons. How they produce it is really up to them.
It’s a redubbed scene from an earlier episode (though I can’t blame anybody for not knowing as the recent seasons are so unmemorable). Redubbing existing scenes was common practice during the earlier seasons in order to pad out some of the shorter episodes (and possibly to stretch the budget a little further). This happens only very rarely nowadays.
There’s no way that The Simpsons, with its more sophisticated animation, could have responded to something topical unless the animation was comprised of a talking head only (or in this case, a redub of an existing scene).
It’s a re-edited version of a previous episode.
homer is down with sorelax :>
I can’t see the reference to Pokeman Go in that advertisement? Am I missing something.
Homer is playing the game at the zoo.
He’s mentioning Pokemon names while using his phone?
