That legal bill at Nine may be growing once again with a report today claiming former NRL player Ben Ross is considering legal action after his horrendous arm wrestle on the NRL Footy Show in June 2015.

Wendell Sailor accidentally snapped his arm Live on air as shocked viewers watched on.

Ross has endured more than a year of surgeries and rehabilitation and still struggles to get full use of his right arm, the Daily Telegraph reports.

“I can confirm that we have had no such correspondence from Ben or anyone representing Ben,” NRL Footy Show executive producer Glenn Pallister said.

“To the contrary, about a month ago Ben made us aware of a beautiful story, and then presented it for The Footy Show, showcasing the work of the Men of League charity, who we support and for whom Ben works.”

Ross has previously tweeted that the incident “wasn’t anyone’s fault. @NRLFootyShow were amazing with their help and care last night.”

It’s not clear who has been footing the bill for the medical expenses, nor how much work he has lost as a result of the horrific mishap.

  1. He has no right to sue. He went on the pathetic show and willingly agreed to participate in an arm wrestle.

Having said that, I hope he does and sends nine broke.
