TEN screens the Bathurst 1000 this weekend, with coverage beginning 12pm AEDT Friday.

Matt White will lead the commentary team, joined by Mark Larkham, Rick Kelly, Grant Denyer, Mark Howard and Kate Peck.

TEN miniseries Brock will also premiere at 8.30pm on Sunday.

This year’s race will celebrate the King of the Mountain, Peter Brock, on the tenth anniversary of his death in 2006. With nine Bathurst victories, nine Sandown wins and 37 ATCC victories to his name, Brock is without a doubt one of the greatest sporting heroes Australia has ever seen.

Also in action this weekend are the Harvey Norman Supergirls. Swiss IndyCar driver Simona De Silvestro and Australia’s Renee Gracie will return will return to The Mountain ahead of De Silvestro’s full-time Supercars debut in 2017.

On the anniversary of the great Peter Brock’s death, can fan-favourite Craig Lowndes take out his seventh Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 victory and confirm his status as one of the all-time greats of the sport?

  1. Foxtel has 506 as its dedicated Bathurst channel all week with highlights of past races running 24/7 and live coverage starting Thursday. Only downside is because of the FTA rights Foxtel have to have ad breaks at the same time as TEN during the races.

    1. Really? Fox sports don’t show adverts on NRL games when Nine do. Over in New Zealand, Sky Sport have shown previous years races with no ad breaks. Will be peeved if they are going to show ads this year. It’s not like there isn’t enough digitally added advertising already.

        1. aleast the race will still be shown in a box in the corner when the ad is on and you wont miss anything during the 10mins of ads every 20mins of race time
