Futuristic crime series Stitchers has been renewed for a third season.

The series centres around Kirsten Clark (Emma Ishta) who joins a “covert government agency” that investigates murders by hacking into the brains of the recently deceased.

Whilst Season 1 did well for cable network Freeform, Season 2 drew upon Timeshifted numbers.

Stitchers‘ passionate fanbase has been vocal about wanting to see more of this show, and we listened,” Karey Burke, executive vice president of programming and development at Freeform, said in a statement. “Stitchers has proven itself a consistently strong performer, and we’re proud of the fact that it celebrates #smartgirls everywhere.”

It airs in Australia on FOX8.
