What do The Wrong Girl and Utopia have in common?

I was watching an episode of The Wrong Girl when something twigged in the back of my mind…..

The production office for fictional TV show The Breakfast Bar, where The Wrong Girl’s Lily Woodward (Jessica Marais) works as a producer, is filmed in the same space as Utopia‘s very own Nation Building Authority.

The building is in the western end of Melbourne’s CBD and features a glass backdrop to city skyscrapers. Finding suitable office space in the city for filming can be a bit of a challenge, so it’s no surprise this one passes for both shows, albeit with a brighter palette for the TEN drama.

Breakfast Bar TV scenes are believed to be filmed at TEN’s Como studios, so rule out Lily bumping into NBA boss Tony anytime soon!
