In my opinion The Fall should have finished last season, if Gillian Anderson liked the potential of her role another story should have been developed to explore her Stella Gibson character a bit more,the underlying sexual identity issues Stella explored are fascinating. Jamie Dornan’s charismatic success plainly influenced the producers to continue with his role which was probably intended to finish in season one.
