A trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders has been released by Netflix, bringing together Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). And look who joins them….
A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
It will launch on August 18, 2017.

That is a great trailer. Love that they used Nirvana’s ‘Come As You Are’ and I knew they’d bring back Elektra.
This looks so good it hurts. Daredevil and Jessica Jones were sublime. Luke Cage was unspeakable slow… and Iron Fist’s tone in the scheme of things was off imo. But altogether they will be amazing I’m sure…
As I enjoy watching Stan Lees production line entertainment I enjoyed these Netflix shows though ‘Luke Cage’ and especially the ‘Iron Fist’ story looked less developed and intended to keep the Marvel series going for viewer demand.
With this forthcoming release of ‘The Defenders’ it may reveal the future direction for these less than super heroes . Hopefully, the shows storyline will be able to keep true to the characters and their own journeys but I suspect that the reclusive avenger that each portrays will be overwhelmed by those inevitable clashes of personality.
