SBS will screen Oliver Stone’s The Putin Interviews soon, a 4 part series which premieres next week in the US.
It begins with Parts 1 & 2.
Not to be confused with NBC’s Megyn Kelly’s interview with the Russian president, which is also attracting attention.
Russian president Vladimir Putin discusses President Donald Trump, and Russia’s meddling in the 2016 US presidential election with Oliver Stone. The Oscar-winning writer and director, with the help of his long-time documentary producer Fernando Sulichin, interviewed Putin more than a dozen times over the course of two years, most recently in February, following Donald Trump’s successful White House run and inauguration.
8:30pm & 9:30pm Sunday June 18 on SBS.

Can Putin speak English? My impression is that he can’t, every time I’ve seen him on the news he is speaking Russian with an announcer doing an English VO. Could be very tedious interviews if there are no direct answers and everything has to go thru interpreters.
