It has a who’s who of Wimbledon: Andy Murray, Virginia Wade, Rod Laver, Billie Jean King, Sampras, McEnroe, Martina, Borg & Federer.

And no sign of Margaret Court.

Sue Barker’s Wimbledon Greats: Episode One
140 years after the first Lawn Tennis Championships were held at Wimbledon, Sue Barker travels the globe to meet some of the legends who have graced the famous grass courts. In this first episode Sue chats to British tennis royalty in the shape of Sir Andy Murray and Virginia Wade, her own personal idol Rod Laver, Billie Jean King who revolutionised the women’s game, and a rare interview with seven time Wimbledon champion Pete Sampras. The players share memories and reflect on their own experiences at the iconic tennis tournament. These are their stories as never told before, emotional and self-deprecating, revealing how their lives and careers were changed by the Championships.

Sue Barker’s Wimbledon Greats: Episode Two
In this second episode, BBC’s Sue Barker continues her journey meeting some of the biggest icons in Wimbledon tennis history. This time Sue catches up with Roger Federer, who has won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, including seven at Wimbledon. She also meets great rivals from the 70s and 80s Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe, plus her great friend Martina Navratilova, the ‘Queen of Wimbledon’, who won an astonishing 20 titles at the All England Club. These are their stories as never told before, emotional and self-deprecating, revealing how their lives and careers were changed by the Championships
