Rumours rife for dating shows
Shane Warne reckons there ain't no Bachelor gig. Sophie Monk to host Love Island?

There are a number of rumours surrounding recent and upcoming dating shows, so let’s knock them off in one post.
Firstly, Shane Warne has denied he has been offered $3M to star as the next Bachelor for TEN.

That would seem to put that to rest (although unless I’m mistaken he also denied joining TEN’s jungle prior to his appearance).
Meanwhile New Weekly is suggesting Nine is chasing Sophie Monk to host Love Island.
This would be a no-brainer, a perfect synergy for the show and its target audience. It also gets her away from Aussie paparazzo, given the show will be filming in Spain. The UK edition is hosted by Caroline Flack. Monk previously judged Australia’s Got Talent for Nine.
There are plenty of additional rumours about Monk and Stu Laundy since last week, surrounding everything from splitting up to having twins. Let’s leave those to the Daily Mail, for now.

If Sophie takes the Love Island gig, I can’t see her relationship lasting too long, we’ll see I guess
I thought they were going to do a new version of Perfect Match? Or has that been shelved?
There have been a lot of dating shows casting but I don’t specifically recall Perfect Match returning.
Caroline Flack hosts Love Island in the UK. Fearne hasn’t presented it for a few years now.
Given her ratings bonanza with Bachelorette, Nine would be crazy not to at least approach Monk.
Ten would be mad to let Sophie go to another network. Find her a show and fast

You probably haven’t been watching Neighbours for a while as Paul is currently engaged to a bimbo in her early 20s.
Nothing’s changed then. Watched it for a little while early in the year with the Fake Dee storyline.
