2018 Seven reality show Dance Boss is currently looking for non-professional dancers.
“Do you work fulltime but have a secret passion for dance?” a casting notice asks.
“You can be a nurse, pilot, retail, ambulance officer, fireman, construction etc. who has a natural flair for any kind of dance – whether it be hip hop, street, ballroom, jazz, contemporary, burlesque, ballet, swing, Latin, Bollywood!
“You must have some dance experience and hopefully still be attending classes regularly.”
The show is said to be inspired by viral videos of dancers and appears to be looking for teams applicants (it’s a bit vague on this front) who are 18 years or over. On offer is a “large cash prize.”
“This is not a comedy show, it’s a show that celebrates the human passion for dance,” it states.
Applications close November 24 and the show is due in Q3 2018 on Seven.

So X-Factor/Australia’s Got Talent just with a new name. Oh is the traditional tragic back story implied?, as it does mention not a comedy show.
