TEN has been busy dropping clues as to who is going into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Remembering that these are worded so as to offer up more than one candidate, here are the clues so far:
An Australian Rocker: This Australian legend has had album and single sales in excess of one million. Trading in a rock star life for a camp site with only the bare necessities, will this songster have what it takes to survive Africa’s jungle terrain?
An AFL Champion: This premiership-winning player is known for their hair-raising play. With a squad of celebrities playing hard ball for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle, will this athlete manage to maintain their team player mentality?
Two feuding celebrities: Two celebrities in the middle of Australia’s biggest feud will be heading into the jungle….. This Australian duo are used to clashing in real life, but what will happen when they are forced to live alongside one another in the unpredictable African terrain? (previously teased as “iconic” celebrities).
An iconic Australian comedian: This much-loved comedian married into one of Australia’s most famous families. When faced with South Africa’s finest creepy crawlies, will they still find a way to crack a joke about the harsh reality of camp life?

Not sure about Akermanis, as I believe his wife is due to give birth to baby #3 in February. My guess is Josh Gibson – (Hawthorn). He was a premiership player
My guesses are someone from INXS, Glenn Robbins as his character married into Kath & Kim. Dunno about the rest.

As is stated every year, can’t have the show in Australia because all the live challenges / crosses would be in the pitch black of night.

I was thinking someone from INXS, as the advert said sales “in excess” of….. and I’m sure they put emphasis on that word when I saw it on TV last night……
Wonder if Jimmy Barnes will sing a version of Guns N’ Roses Welcome To The Jungle when he enters. Well that’s my guess anyway given all the appearances he has made lately including on The Book Show, he has been a bit of a Jimmy everywhere lately.

Funny you should say that, they have always had an AFL player but very few (if any) NRL players have gone in.
