A My Kitchen Rules & Winter Olympics double was too strong for the competition on Thursday with Seven pulling a massive 42.5% share.
MKR won its slot with 947,000 viewers, a figure that might have arguably been higher given MAFS was nowhere in sight. Nevertheless a win is a win. I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here was also up from the previous night, second in its slot with 581,000.
The Winter Olympics ruled from 9pm with 891,000 but Gogglebox proved strong at 649,000 given the competition.
Nine saw ACA win its slot but RBT had to settle for fourth. ABC’s 8pm drama test Call the Midwife began with 458,000 viewers while SBS had a tough night overall.
Seven network won Thursday with 42.5% then Nine 20.0%, TEN 18.0%, ABC 14.6% and SBS 5.0%.
Seven News was #1 for Seven with 983,000 / 869,000 viewers then My Kitchen Rules (947,000), Winter Olympics (891,000 / 473,000), Home and Away (629,000) and The Chase (544,000).
Nine News (869,000 / 807,000) led for Seven then A Current Affair (757,000), RBT (471,000) and Hot Seat (455,000 / 286,000). Movie: Point Break was 244,000.
Gogglebox (649,000) was best for TEN then I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (581,000), TEN Eyewitness News (430,000), The Project (396,000 / 287,000) and Family Feud (267,000). A repeat of This is Us drew 141,000.
On ABC it was ABC News (681,000), 7:30 (538,000), Call the Midwife (458,000), Q & A (459,000), Sammy J (257,000), Would I Lie to You? (171,000) and Think Tank (129,000).
Great British Railway Journeys (209,000) topped SBS followed by SBS World News (109,000), Shane Delia’s Recipe for Life (88,000), Knightfall (79,000), Running Wild with Bear Grylls (78,000).
Winter Olympics on 7mate pulled 314,000.
