Airdate: Luke Nguyen’s Food Trail

New foodie series Luke Nguyen’s Food Trail begins next week on SBS.

The 13 part sees Luke Nguyen trace his personal history and career, with lots of tasty dishes along the way.

Episode 1 begins in Sydney.

Luke Nguyen’s Food Trail tracks Luke’s life and career from where it all started in Sydney – moving to Saigon and then onto Hong Kong. Throughout the series Luke is joined by close friends, local chefs, and of course his family, which play such a large part of this life.

Along the way Luke visits fish markets and producers cooking some delicious Vietnamese dishes, and is joined by celebrated local chefs who cook a variety of Asian and Caribbean cuisines.

Series One, Episode One: Sydney Australia
Luke explores and reminisces about his childhood growing up in Cabramatta. He meets with his high school friend, Thai, to cook a traditional Vietnamese Curry. Luke then takes us behind the scenes at his Sydney restaurant and cooks mouth-watering Pork Belly and a coconut milk fish.
