NITV marks the 50th anniversary of the death of US civil rights leader.

Ahead of the 50th anniversary of his assassination, NITV screens a special on US civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

NITV honours one of the most powerful leaders in the civil rights movement, human rights activist Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In the lead up to the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on the 4th of April 1968, NITV will feature content that reflects on the life and impact King made on the world; his legacy, philosophy and advocacy of non-violent resistance that continues to live on and inspire many.

NITV will be screening the free-to-air premiere feature documentary Martin Luther King: His Legacy, followed by Black Power Mixtape 1967-75 on Sunday the 1st of April from 8.30pm and the NITV premiere of the MLK: The Assassination at the same time of 8.30pm Monday April 2nd.

Martin Luther King: 50 Years On airs Sunday, 1 April at 8.30pm on NITV.
