Airdate: People’s Forum Live from Adelaide

Ahead of the South Australian election next week SKY News Political Editor David Speers will moderate a one-hour Live forum in Adelaide with Premier Jay Weatherill, Opposition Leader Steven Marshall and SA-Best Leader Nick Xenophon.

“This has already been a fascinating campaign and as it comes to a close, I’m looking forward to seeing how the three leaders go in this forum,” he said.

Facing off against each other and a room full of undecided voters isn’t easy. We’ll see Weatherill, Marshall and Xenophon taken off script and into the areas voters are really concerned about.”

As South Australians prepare to cast their vote in the state election, SKY News and The Advertiser will host the People’s Forum on Wednesday March 14 with Premier Jay Weatherill, Opposition Leader Steven Marshall and SA-Best Leader Nick Xenophon. With three leaders vying for support, the People’s Forum provides the last opportunity for the leaders to gain votes.

The forum will be held at the Grand Central – Central District Football Club, where the leaders will take questions from undecided voters chosen by Galaxy polling.

Prior to the People’s Forum David will anchor his award-winning political program Speers Live from the venue at 3:30pm (4:00pm AEDT).

Following the forum at 8:30pm (9:00pm AEDT), David will dissect the results with Paul Murray and Cory Bernardi in a special edition of Paul Murray Live with the program broadcasting Live from Adelaide, examining the leaders’ responses to the issues and concerns raised by the people of South Australia.

Then on Saturday March 17 as South Australians head to the polls, SKY News will have unrivalled coverage and analysis Live from 5:30pm (6:00pm AEDT).

David Speers will anchor the election night coverage Live with a panel of guests, including the Defence Industry Minister, Christopher Pyne, the Shadow Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and Defence Personnel, Amanda Rishworth, along with Grahame Morris and Bruce Hawker.

He will also be crossing Live to SKY News Reporters Stacey Lee and Patrick Murrell and SKY News Political Reporter Samantha Maiden, who will be on the ground with the leaders.
