Veteran comedy performer Carol Burnett fronts her own TV series for the first time in 27 years when A Little Help with Carol Burnett debuts this week on Netflix.
The 12 part series sees the 85 year old performer chatting with straight-talking 5-9 year olds, solving life’s biggest dilemmas.
Burnett, who was awarded SAG’s Life Achievement honour in 2016, has more recently been a guest on Hawaii Five-0, Glee, Hot in Cleveland and US pre-school series Julie’s Greenroom.
The show features a studio audience and is co-hosted by comedian Russell Peters.
Carol Burnett is back. In this funny and endearing series, she will be joined by a group of the most honest and unfiltered people in the world – a gaggle of straight talking, entertaining 5-9 year old kids. These very opinionated “experts” weigh-in on a variety of relatable and humorous dilemmas brought in by everyday adults. Each episode will feature a celebrity contributor brave enough to bring in their own dilemma for the kids to comment on in front of a live audience.
Friday May 4 on Netflix.

I used to watch her show when I was about 6 years old. I loved the Carol Burnett show even though I am sure half the jokes went over my head. How amazing that at 85 years old, she is so full of life and still working. Doing what you love sure seems to keep you young.
85 years old. Wow, just wow! She has always been a great comedian and performer. My mum got me onto her when she was on Mad About You, true legend. 85!!!!
