A decade ago SBS gave Rebel Wilson her own series, Bogan Pride, arguably her first project where she was a creative.
It was producer Tony Ayres, now at Matchbox Pictures, who backed Wilson’s vision, at a time when she had been a performer on other projects such as Pizza, The Wedge and Monster House.

I loved it as well. I watched it all and hope that SBS could re-licence it to bring it back.
She is still playing the same character in everything to this day
We could say the same of a lot of actors, to her credit she has made it work. She copped a lot of flak, especially around Monster House failing.
Time to give it another run on SBS?
