Katee Sackhoff to star in new sci-fi Another Life

Ex-Battlestar Galactica star to play an astronaut facing unimaginable danger in new Netflix series.

Ex-Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff will star in a new Netflix scifi, Another Life.

She will star as astronaut Niko Breckenridge, leading a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As she and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.

The 10 episode series is by Aaron Martin (Slasher, Saving Hope, Degrassi: The Next Generation) and produced by Halfire Entertainment (Alias Grace).

Sackhoff has also appeared in The Flash, Longmire and Star Wars: Rebels (voice).

An airdate has not yet been announced.

  1. Good news to see Netflix continuing to add to their scfi collection, with the high standard of previous shows (like Lost in Space) expectation will be high that this show will maintain the production standard.
Good news too that Katee Sackoff is getting a key role, she has had some good supportive roles since Battlestar Galactica, but the competition for female actors is keen.

    1. I agree on both accounts. Lost in Space was excellent and nice to see a full budget space based sci fi show again. I hope Netflix can deliver something equally as good, with Another Life.

Katee was fantastic in BSG, so good to see her getting a lead role.
