Bumped: Wentworth

ABC has pushed Wentworth back by another 30 minutes on Thursdays.

No real surprises here, ABC has pushed Wentworth S1 back to a 9:30pm start as from Thursday.

It will now screen QI repeats at 9pm, flipping the timeslots around.

Last week Wentworth pulled just 141,000 viewers, unrealistic for the slot.

  1. I didn’t watch Prisoner and Wentworth is just too strong for me: indeed I am the demographic. I don’t like violence on the whole though, when they shot a man in the head through the car window in Shadow Line I had to stop watching that too.

  2. TVNZ has all 5 seasons available on their OnDemand service. When I lived in Australia I didn’t have Foxtel so it’s nice to be able to finally watch it (and at my leisure too 😉 )

  3. Half an hour’s not much of a bump-should probably been put on ABC2 but currently not an option due to the ABC’s need to show a wall of comedy, many of which aren’t very funny at all!

  4. Even though it’s five years old, I thought the ratings would be better than what it’s getting on ABC. Not everyone has Foxtel and has seen it previously.

    1. >> on ABC. Not everyone has Foxtel and has seen it previously.

More importantly, the ABC demographic has no interest in it. It was never a program ABC viewers would watch.

  5. Thank goodness it will still air. Appreciate the update David. Very unlike the ABC to bump shows but at least it hasn’t been pulled. Thoroughly enjoying the show.

    1. Yes, liiking foward to watching the rest of S1.
But doesn’t look promising for further seasons – really hope the ABC will screen the whole series even at a later time.
