AWS describe themselves as a modern metal band with attitude. The band was formed in Budapest in 2006 by Bence Brucker, Dániel Kökényes, Örs Siklósi and Áron Veress when they were just teenagers. Soma Schiszler joined later.

The music of AWS is characterised by diverse, powerful performances as well as sudden changes, which utilize metal, psychedelic rock, alternative and post-rock styles. Their music videos often have juxtapositions of images of violence and celebrities in order to bring light to problems that the world faces.

With twelve years of intense touring in Hungary and abroad, three LPs, numerous music videos and excellent feedback from both professionals and fans under their belt, they grew to be one of the most sought-after live bands of the Hungarian metal scene.
