A viewer could be forgiven thinking that this years season of Homeland was a commentary piece designed to emphasise the political vacuum in Washington under President Trump and how close America is to becoming fragmented and no longer the bastion of world democracy, This is not unusual as Hollywood have historically followed domestic political trends in the past especially during the Vietnam war, but Homeland really deserved something better than this 24 TV show style political melodrama. Hopefully, Homeland’s final season will give the show a closure worth remembering.
