MasterChef fights off House Rules, as Seven wins Monday.

With a public holiday in 3 cities numbers were up last night.

At 7:30 MasterChef and House Rules were locked in a battle, with victory by TEN at 885,000 to 861,000 -TEN also topped the demos.  Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation followed at 592,000, down on last week’s 686,000, then 7:30 and Back Roads.

By 8:30 Have You Been Paying Attention?  with new Officer of Australia host Tom Gleisner winning at 790,000 ahead of Four Corners, The Big Bang Theory and the final Mentor.

Seven News and ABC News both won their slots.

Some good news for Love Island topping multichannels for 9GO! at 190,000 -its best figure so far.

Seven network won Monday with 29.7 then Nine 25.2%, TEN 21.2%, ABC 16.7% and SBS 7.1%.

Seven News was #1 for Seven with 1.28m / 1.16m then House Rules (861,000), Home and Away (701,000), Seven’s AFL (579,000), The Chase (484,000 / 276,000 in 4 cities), The Mentor (421,000) and Gordon Behind Bars (177,000). Talking Footy was 91,000 on 7mate in 3 cities.

Nine News (1.02m / 962,000) led for Nine followed by A Current Affair (754,000), Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation (592,000), Hot Seat (527,000 / 306,000), The Big Bang Theory (503,000 / 306,000). Footy Classified was 144,000 in 3 cities and 100% Footy was 77,000 in 2 cities.

MasterChef Australia (885,000) and Have You Been Paying Attention? (790,000) both won slots for TEN then The Project (625,000 /398,000), TEN Eyewitness News (441,000), Family Feud (332,000) and The Graham Norton Show (274,000).

ABC News (782,000), Back Roads (640,000), 7:30 (578,000), Four Corners (516,000), Media Watch (515,000), Q&A (340,000), and Think Tank (287,000) comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was The Queen’s Favourite Animals (233,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (201,000), 24 Hours Inside Your Body (201,000) and SBS World News (153,000).
