Todd Sampson’s Body Hack 2.0: June 21

This week on Todd Sampson’s Body Hack 2.0 our intrepid host ventures into the Amazon to meet indigenous people the Matsés.

The Matsés made their first permanent contact with the outside world in 1969 when they accepted missionaries into their communities.

Trekking deep into the Amazon, Todd Sampson lives with a remote tribe who were only discovered by American missionaries 50 years ago.

What he discovers is a small community of twelve families who still practice traditional hunting techniques, using machetes, bow and arrows and spears as their only weapons.

When Todd is asked to take part in a popular Matsés ritual said to give super human powers, he agrees but soon finds himself in over his head with potentially life threatening consequences.
