Production commenced this week in Melbourne on Nine’s cooking competition, Family Food Fight.
Eight food-loving families will go head-to-head as they vie for the $100,000 prize money.
Changes this year see Hayden Quinn no longer judging alongside returning judges Matt Moran, Anna Polyviou and Tom Parker Bowles. Teams also appear to have trimmed from 4 to duos of siblings, mothers and sons or husbands and wives.
Nine’s Head of Content Production and Development, Adrian Swift, said: “After a passionate culinary showdown the Shahrouk sisters became Australia’s Number One Food Family in 2017. In season two we’ll be introducing a raft of different food challenges, from a celebrity dinner to catching fresh seafood, all sure to make temperatures rise and inspire even more home cooks around the country.”
Family Food Fight has quality home cooking at its heart and captures the essence of what brings families together at meal times and celebrations. A whole new intensity this season will see families going over and above their cooking skills in order to claim the coveted top spot.
Family Food Fight, an Endemol Shine Australia original format developed with Nine, will be broadcast on multiple nights across several weeks later in 2018.

Aww no Hayden, that’s a shame. I liked him and I thought he bought something different to the judging panel.
Really loved this show last year, looking forward to season 2. Loved how the families supported & helped other teams.
I enjoyed the last one….I never watched reality…but I seem to be watching more and more…and enjoying most of what I do watch..
Hopefully they can get this format right. I enjoyed it last year with the 4 family members. Sounds like they want to sell it overseas
Another yawn from Nine.
I thought Nine were not legally allowed to do duos and cooking after the hotplate law suit?
That pertained to Hot Plate format but did not proceed. FFF has a different format, no instant restaurants judging each other.
Though it does sound like it’s getting closer to My Kitchen Rules.
The ruling was actually against Endemol Shine not Nine. And yes they can’t do couples cooking as it’s too close to MKR.
Not a ruling.
