Renewed: Condor

New US drama Condor has been renewed for a second season.

Based on both the novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady and the 1975 film Three Days of the Condor, the series follows a young CIA analyst (Max Irons) who stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions.

The series also stars William Hurt, Leem Lubany, Angel Bonanni, Kristen Hager, with Mira Sorvino and Bob Balaba with Brendan Fraser as guest star.

Condor debuted in Australia on Stan in June as part of a deal with distributor MGM.

One Comment:

  1. Condor is certainly not your average ‘Homeland’ type show, it could prove frustrating for those who are familiar with the alpha male spy genre and the hero who easily combats all obstacles. Brendan Fraser could quite easily steal the show if he was allowed to and Leem Lubany is a most effective sociopath femme fatale who I would like to see survive until next season, but we shall have to wait and see.
