MTV revives The Hills
US reality cast reunite at VMAs as their show is revived with "new beginnings."

At the VMAs today MTV announced a revival of its hit reality series The Hills, which focussed on the lives of 6 young women from California.
A spin-off of Laguna Beach, the series ran for six seasons from 2006-2010 and centred around Lauren Conrad pursuing a career in the fashion industry before Kristin Cavallari led the final season.
The Hills: New Beginnings will reunite original cast members, alongside their children and friends, and follow their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles.
Today, members of the original cast, including Justin Brescia, Stephanie Pratt, Frankie Delgado, Ashley Wahler, Jason Wahler, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Gunner Pratt reunited on the red carpet at the VMAs.
The series is due for release in 2019.
