The Block, HYBPA? rule Monday slots

Ratings: Blind Date down in its second week, while Wanted holds. Nine wins Monday.

After 7:30 last night there were two shows ahead of the pack, The Block and Have You Been Paying Attention? but nobody managed to crack the magic million.

The Block won its slot and topped older demos at 945,000 viewers. 7:30 was next at 635,000 then Border Security, Emergency Call, Invictus Games Today & Blind Date. TEN’s dating show fell to 377,00 after its debut last week of 487,000.

But HYBPA?  lifted things for TEN winning its slot and younger demos at 778.000. That was well in front of Four Corners, Wanted at 450,000 on par with last week, and a movie on Nine.

Britain’s Most Historic Towns was best for SBS at 273,000.

Seven News, ACA  and The Chase won their earlier slots.

Nine network won Monday with 29.5% then Seven 27.0%, ABC 19.0%, TEN 17.7% and SBS 6.8%.

The Block (945,000) led for Nine then Nine News (892,000 / 872,000), A Current Affair (769,000), movie: Sully (452,000) and Hot Seat (441,000 / 275,000).

Seven News was #1 for Seven with 961,000 / 946,000 then Home and Away (629,000), Border Security (567,000), Emergency Call (557,000), The Chase (554,000 / 350,000) and Wanted (450,000 / 379,000).

ABC News (728,000), 7:30 (635,000), Media Watch (489,000), Invictus Games Today (482,000), Four Corners (480,000), Q&A (424,000) and Doctor Who (329,000) comprised ABC’s night.

Have You Been Paying Attention? (778,000) was best for TEN then The Project (302,000 / 441,000), Blind Date (377,000), TEN Eyewitness News (367,000), The Graham Norton Show (214,000) and Pointless (210,000).

On SBS it was Britain’s Most Historic Towns (273,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (174,000), How to Lose Weight Well (153,000) and SBS World News (144,00).

9GO!’s Big Bang topped multichannels at 192,000.

  1. Really poor form of Channel 7 to screen double eps of Wanted ! It just doesn’t make sense to burn off one of their few quality local dramas.
    Killer soundtrack, especially the latest episode. Kudos to Rebecca.
