Just 2 weeks remain in a ratings year that will be awarded to Seven.
Nine has won 5 ratings weeks, but last week Seven bagged its 33rd week (including Commonwealth Games).
Seven led in Total People, key demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 and claiming victory in all 5 cities.
The Bachelorette final decision topped the week but it wasn’t enough to stop 10 from losing share points.

And the fact that 7 are clear winners just reinforces they target older Australians who are the main audience of FTA.
All demo wins include young people.
I know I’ve said this before, but I believe there should not be a ratings ‘period’. It should be 365 days a year. When on holidays we still watch tv, but get rubbish programs while still watching all their adds. I say ‘keep the barst***s honest. Keep them all on their toes and create employment.
With the country now home to over 24million people, really none of those numbers impress. No one can crack a million people, i know tgere are heaps of factors involved. Anyway just food for thought
Agree the numbers are low in comparison to population. I’ve always had doubts about the accuracy of the OzTam ratings system. I just don’t see how they can come up with figures based on a relatively small sample.
Seven News did have over a million one night during the week, but of course each week the bulletin is averaged into a single figure. This is always missed.
