Legendary Australian entertainer Kamahl has been charged with stalking a 38 year old woman after he agreed to loan her money.

Nine News reports the singer, now aged 89, claims he was responding to a situation without all of his faculties, and forgetting to take medication.

Kamahl, currently a resident of a Northern Beaches home, is facing one count of stalking with intent to cause fear and due to face Sutherland Court next month.
