Renewed: A Discovery of Witches

UK supernatural drama with Teresa Palmer & Matthew Goode has been renewed for second & third seasons.

UK supernatural drama A Discovery of Witches, which premieres in Australia next week, has been renewed for second and third seasons.

Based on Deborah Harkness’ trilogy of novels, the series Aussie Teresa Palmer (Hacksaw Ridge, Warm Bodies) as Diana Bishop, a historian and reluctant witch, who uncovers an ancient manuscript in Oxford’s Bodleian Library and actor Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey).

Anne Mensah, Sky’s head of drama, said: “Season one was a brilliant introduction to the All Souls world and the love story between Diana and Matthew. We can’t wait for the show’s fans to continue the journey with seasons two and three, become more enchanted by the characters and watch the magic further unfold.”

It premieres in Australia Thursday November 15 at 8.30pm on FOX8.
