AFLW returns to FOX Footy this week going through to the end of March.

Beginning round one, FOX Footy will show every game of every round of the 2019 NAB AFL Women’s third season Live, including finals and the grand final with no ad-breaks siren to siren.

FOX Footy’s star-studded commentary team made up of expert analysts, players and coaches will bring fans closer to the game, starting with the network showing the very first bounce of the blockbuster between new club Geelong and Collingwood this Saturday 2nd February.

In a first for any television network, two AFLW coaches will join the FOX Footy commentary team. Former Adelaide inaugural premiership coach Bec Goddard and former head coach of Fremantle Michelle Cowan will offer viewers a new perspective to the game.

Saturday 2 February, 8.30pm Live from Norwood Oval
North Melbourne v Carlton

Brisbane v GWS Giants
Sunday 3 February, 5.00pm Live from Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex

  1. Isn’t channel 7 showing the Saturday games? So will Fox use the 7 commentary like they do with AFL before or will they use their own commentary like they do with the cricket (Big Bash) where they use the 7 coverage with their own commentary team

      1. I was Just wondering if Fox will be using the 7 commentary like they did with previous AFL season or will they have their own commentary like Cricket?
