Game of Thrones breaks Twitter record for scripted TV

Yesterday’s blockbuster episode of Game of Thrones is officially the most Tweeted episode of scripted TV of all time.

More than 7.8 million Tweets were sent after “The Long Night” second only to this season’s premiere episode, with over 5 million Tweets. No doubt many were complaining about the dark screen resolution as well as the storylines.

Night King
Bran
Jon Snow
Cersei

This year there have been more than 52 million Tweets about the show.
