Hannah Gadsby wins Peabody Award

Hannah Gadsby: Nanette has been named as a winner in the prestigious Peabody Awards.

The Netflix show joins The Americans, Barry, The End of the F***ing World, The Good Place, Killing Eve, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, Pose and Random Acts of Flyness which have all been named as entertainment winners, according to Variety.

Sesame Street has been named the winner of the Institutional Award for five decades of educating and entertaining children, globally. And Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe has been named the winner of the Peabody for children and youth programming.

A red carpet event will be held on May 18 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, hosed by journalist Ronan Farrow, where Rita Moreno will receive the Career Achievement Award.
