ABC, SKY to screen third Leaders’ Debate

PM & Opposition Leader will meet for a third and final debate at the National Press Club in Canberra.

The Prime Minister & Opposition Leader will meet for a third and final Leaders’ Debate on Wednesday night at the National Press Club in Canberra.

It will be  moderated by ABC journalist and National Press Club President Sabra Lane.

This will be screened on ABC and SKY News from 7:30pm. The offer to broadcast was made to all networks.

Australia Votes: Leaders’ Debate – Wednesday, May 8 Live at 7.30pm on ABC* & Live from 7.30pm (AEST) on ABC NEWS and iview.

*On ABC the 7.30pm broadcast is Live in eastern states, delayed in SA & NT (airing after the 7pm ABC News bulletin). In WA the broadcast is Live at 5.30pm on ABC.

Immediately after the broadcast join Greg Jennett, Laura Tingle, Andrew Probyn, Patricia Karvelas and Barrie Cassidy on ABC News channel for post-debate commentary and analysis.

  1. I have already Voted for Labor and the Greens, but i’ll still be watching, just to get a laugh out of
    Coalmo’s Spin on Climate Change and Renewable Energy.

    1. Quoting someone on Q&A, referring to his old job with Tourism Aust. “Where the bloody hell are you?”. Just hoping they don’t import that hideous green screen set from TVW7, used last time. “National Press Club”. Good. Decent, stationary non-distracting. And the moderator doesn’t speak to the debaters with his back to them.
