  1. Good figure for MC & it will gain another 70-100k in timeshifted viewing so should end up with over 800k, also looks like MC Has really left the best till last in one of their recent promos so hopefully It grows more

  2. So are you saying that more people prefer to watch the Voice and House Rules and that the only way MasterChef can rate well is to get rid of those 2 programs.

    1. Yes I do think unfortunately more people would prefer to watch the voice and house rules. It’s showing clearly in the ratings. I think it’s more the far that Masterchef is the same old same old after a whole decade now. But it goes to show that if there’s no competition people will come to have a look, was the same with I’m a celebrity.

  3. Fantastic! I’m really hoping this can continue when the voice cuts down to once a week. And with house rules only on twice a week now Masterchef might be able to really pick up its pace.

    1. Also agree about Five Bedrooms! I really like that each episode focuses on a different perspective and character; and you can see the actors are enjoying being a part of it!

      1. Yes, agree with all the above comments regarding Five Bedrooms. Really loving it ! Such likeable and three dimensional characters who all have realistically relatable flaws and foibles, as well as really endearing storylines.
Also loving The Letdown – my favourite local drama at the moment . Hilarious and poignant at the same time. Again, very relatable characters and storylines. Alison Bell is absolutely brilliant here and all the supporting cast are excellent.
Refreshing to have two such quality local dramas to watch on Wednesday nights..

        1. By the way, does anyone know the name of the opening and closing theme song for The Letdown? Have googled but to no avail.
Really like it – thought it may be Sally Seltmann as she’s done some other music for the show ?

          1. Thanks but no luck with Shazam.
But did manage to finally track down the intro song title , ‘Anything Can Happen’ by Sally Seltmann. Unfortunately not available anywhere for purchase..
