Reality TV …..without the music
This MAFS clip that drops the music shows just how powerful it is in Reality TV.

I’m not sure what to make of this….
Nine recently released footage of a Married at First Sight commitment ceremony in which one participant, Jess, reveals she has pursued someone other than her TV husband.
What makes it fascinating is that it drops the grand soundtrack after 15 seconds, showing how everybody is lost for words. Many look like they knew all along… and some even a bit bored?
The contrast certainly underlines the power of music in the Reality TV genre.
Australia’s most controversial social experiment returns. After being matched by three relationship experts, 20 strangers looking for love meet their partners for the first time at the altar in the quest to find true happiness.
Updated: Nine has deleted the video.

Nine’s deleted the video…I do wonder why?
Yes I updated info on Friday. Some top brass not happy it was uploaded.
Sounds like an AMSR video.
I call BS on this. All those “natural” sounds have been dubbed in to disguise the editing process. The question is why do this?
Their reactions are very similar to mine when somebody tells me they watch MAFS.
Would be interesting to know which came first – the pictures or the music. Usually the pics get edited first but this is quite erratic which suggests it was cut to music.
looks like they’ve been told their Bae blades have been confiscated,
I remember watching Masterchef previews without the music… the cooking part was unbearable.
A friend of mine who knows someone in MC production said she’d told her “oh, it’s all about the music!’ And yeah, it’s a very good point.
I often turn down or off the sound on reality shows. It keeps me calm.
Having not seen the original clip, this seems incredibly … awkward. So this is what it was like for the contestants sitting there. So awkward!
