Returning: Glitch

Season 3 of  paranormal drama series Glitch returns in August for its final chapter.

Returning cast include Patrick Brammall, Emma Booth, Rodger Corser, Sean Keenan, Hannah Monson, John Leary, Aaron McGrath, Rob Collins, Luke Arnold and  Pernilla August.

New cast members including Jessica Faulkner, Harry Tseng, Jackson Gallagher, Dustin Clare, Susan Prior and Anna McGahn.

Across six compelling episodes, we follow the Risen as they move beyond Yoorana and into the wider world. However, with the invisible boundary shattered, all the rules have now changed. They cannot escape their past or anticipate who is now pursuing them. With an unpredictable threat looming, each will be confronted with a critical choice and a moment of truth.

Co-creators Tony Ayres and Louise Fox end what they created, along with the writing team of Louise Fox, Giula Sandler and Pete McTighe and the award-winning Emma Freeman directing all six episodes.

Sunday August 25 at 9.30pm on ABC with all episodes available to watch on iview (Series 1 & 2 will be available on iview, from Wednesday 20th August).

  1. I will check out the new season with curiosity, removing the invisible boundary does look like the shows writers want to expand the story and broaden the plot to give more dimension to the characters giving the series a chance to continue beyond season 3, but there’s also the chance that Glitch could become formulaic and ponderous as well, which tends to sometimes happen with some successful Australian shows with limited plots stretched too far.
