I thought it was unusual having a telethon on a week night.
Seems low don’t you think? But well done.
There are multiple telethons each year and at some you just ask yourself “how much more can I give”
It wasn’t broadcasted in all cities, since NRL was on at the time. It might just be a Melbourne exclusive. Idk.
Updated: 3 cities, but hard to expect Adelaide & Perth to donate. It’s down above the figure for 2018. A lot of people presume every telethon will match Good Friday Appeal or Telethon but that’s unreasonable. They fund raise all year and have decades behind them (plus one runs all weekend). Final tally is $1.264.
Why is it “hard to expect Adelaide & Perth to donate”?
Monies raised are for a Melbourne based hospital.
