Seven News, ACA, The Block, HYBPA? win Monday slots.

Ratings: Monday proved to be a tight race between Nine and Seven.

Monday proved to be a tight race between Nine and Seven with the former emerging as victor.

The Block won its slot at 893,000 and topped the older demo, ahead of Australian Survivor (741,000 its best number since launch) -both were up on last Monday. Australia’s Got Talent followed at 641,000, then 7:30 (571,000) and Australian Story (568,000) -all three down on last Monday.

Have You Been Paying Attention? won its slot at 736,000 leading two demos, eclipsing Four Corners (653,000), Media Watch (619,000 from 9:25pm), This Time Next Year (595,000) and The Rookie (427,000 from 9pm).

Nine network just won the night with 27.7% to Seven’s 27.0%, 10 20.6%, ABC 17.7% and SBS 7.0%.

Nine News (961,000 / 888,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair also won its slot at 913,000. Hot Seat drew 504,000 / 280,000.

Seven News was #1 at 1.07m / 1.03m for Seven then Home and Away (672,000). The Chase drew 610,000 / 391,000 with SWAT at 318,000.

The Project was 477,000 / 281,000 for 10 then 10 News First (396,000). A Kitty Flanagan comedy special was 240,000 and Celebrity Name Game just 206,000.

ABC News (668,000), Q&A (327,000) and The Drum (173,000) comprised ABC’s remaining shows.

On SBS it was Royals at War (180,000), SBS World News (159,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (148,000) and Mastermind (82,000).

Go Jetters on ABC KIDS led multichannels at 182,000.
