B&P – my assessment.
The first season was great, there was an even mix of the happy couples and the dramatic parents.
Last night they laboured over a stalemate that was never going to be resolved, and aired literally the same questions and answers between the fiancees and the mother over and over. It’s one thing to produce car crash television, who doesn’t love some of that?, But it was reach-for-the-remote-and-never-come-back stuff.
And for that reason, I’m out.
Good assessment, you are so right last season was so much better.
Ten must be getting pretty concerned at those Celebrity Name Game numbers. Pulling around the same as Pointless now and I’m sure it’s much more expensive to make. Thoughts David?
Not only would they be giving away more money than Pointless but they also have to pay appearance fees to the ‘Celebrities’.
Maybe someone at Channel 7 should watch the commercials they constantly bombard us with for these reality shows. They turn me off so I have no inclination to even have a look at the show to give it a go. While I am here, just wondering if Sunrise figures are actually going up at all or is it that they just look so good with Todays going down so much?
Sunrise is generally around 270k, some days up a bit some days down a bit.
Thank you !
