TV’s most awkward Proposal

Spare a thought for Stacy, who had to stand smiling as Connor proposed to Leah last night on The Proposal.

Commitment-shy Connor, 32, from Queensland was the show’s single on the penultimate episode of the Seven series and heard final pitches from his two ladies left standing.

That meant he then had to choose which lady had won his heart and make a TV proposal. Walking up to Leah he got down on bended knee and asked her to marry him.

But that left Stacy having to stand there smiling, as the unlucky woman. It’s the second time it’s happened.

The dating show has failed to fire for Seven, wrapping a close to 11pm. A final episode airs next week with an unexpected ending, already screening at 7plus.
