10 confirms The Living Room's Miguel for its next jungle cast.

10 has used the Melbourne Cup to confirm chef Miguel Maestre is the first contestant announced for the 2020 season of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
10 has also confirmed “an Australian comedian, an AFL legend and a television megastar” will compete to win $100,000 cheque for their chosen charity, and the title of King or Queen Of The Jungle.
The series also has its earliest-ever launch on Sunday January 5 2020.

He’ll be funny. That’s a good start. And excellent news it’s launching early, during the doldrums.
As we have all learnt by name the term “celebrity” is merely a suggestion of the talent. Good to see 10 using a different one of their popular stars to do one of their reality shows.
So are they not even going to bother keeping them top secret till the night any more? That will be interesting since he & Chris are good mates. Will Chris give him an even harder time? Comedian could be anyone, we have so many of them. Television megastar? As we’ve seen in the past their idea of a megastar tends to be different to ours. Could even be their token American celebrity. Can’t wait to see who else goes in.
