Apple TV has renewed several of its debut streaming dramas.

Apple TV has renewed several of its debut dramas: See, For All Mankind and Dickinson.

The news comes just a week after the titles premiered.

They join Morning Wars which already had a two-season order and is at work on its next season of 10 episodes.

Apple has yet to release any specific details about subscribers or viewership activity on the service.

Media reports claim the service has drawn millions of users who are spending on average more than an hour on the Apple TV+ platform.

It’s not clear how many of those are paying subscribers rather than those taking advantage of the seven-day free trial.

Meanwhile M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller Servant and Octavia Spencer in Truth Be Told will both launch before the end of the year. Shantaram is  currently filming in Melbourne with Charlie Hunnam.

  1. I’m yet to watch Dickinson, but Morning Wars and See are both excellent so far in my opinion.
Obviously See needs a fair bit of suspension of belief at times but I’m more than willing to do that for a dystopian action drama like that. And speaking of the action, it’s brutal and thrilling. I’m so keen to see where it will go.
Morning Wars is completely elevated by the stellar cast. It is basically a story we’ve seen before in many respects (although the head on #metoo storyline is compelling enough to differentiate itself), but the writing and the sheer amount of talent thrown on the screen makes it far better than perhaps it has any right to be. Jennifer Aniston and Billy Crudup are both excellent in their roles in particular… I wouldn’t be surprised if Aniston won awards for her performance… it’s among the best of the year.
In short, both shows are highly enjoyable and have…
